[Just Do It!]

So detailed and yet so cartoony! Like you can actually see through his ears like you could if you held a flashlight to one!
Crazy good details like that are everywhere here. Super cool!

The effect of seeing through his ears is something called 'sub surface scattering' (sss) where light goes through a surface and bounces around it and some escapes.
Because his ears are so big there's alot going around haha

[Pussy Quest (Pilot)]

You're a good artist and decent animator, but the voices and audio mixing needed some serious work. Everything was way too quiet and sound effects were delayed, so I was only able to enjoy this visually.

Without proper volume-mixing, voice and sound effects, characters, visual gags and fights lack personality, and the end product suffers greatly no matter how well drawn it is.

In the hardest time of my life, my childhood friend back in my home country was the only person I could talk to to straighten myself out and get my life together, all through communicating with our phones. If I didn't have a way to constantly talk to him, I'd been mentally f*cked.

So wholeheartedly f*ck your overpreachy, shallow animations. I admired you at first but you've truly become a broken record when it comes to this topic of phones. Ever since Mr. Sneaks Episode 2 it's become the same pretentious concept of "Phones are the end of human interaction and social activity". You're still a good animator and you need to stop being a hack that relies on mindless premises like this.

So youre saying you need to be on the phone 24/7 with your friend to stay alive? Well thats your problem obviously, if you cant handle yourself alone or with other people near you in RL.

And yes, I am actually organizing an international anti-phone army to take on the tech addicts, so better cling to your dear phone as tight as you can before things get really tough for the little screen ;)

I get this is independently animated and deserving of much praise, but there's a certain limit for a character in being bad for me to be interested in them. I wouldn't have had a problem if Katy deserved it, and even after they feel bad about it they still act like jerks expressing it. I like antiheroes fine but if they're simply being minor nuisances to people who don't deserve it it starts to come off as annoying, like modern day Spongebob torturing Squidward for no reason.
Great animation as always though.

I can’t argue with you there! I often think it’s funny when protagonists are unrepentant dicks, because it kind of makes the whole idea of them being the ’heroes’ kind of absurd— like, they’re not the protagonist because they’re any good, we just happen to be focusing on them— but I can definitely relate to being frustrated by it too in certain cases. Sorry if this didn’t work for you, but thanks for the thoughtful feedback!

This was cute and beautiful, my dude. You've always been my favorite animator in the Sonic Shorts, and this original piece did not disappoint. Loved the voices and blocky lineart style.

I was partially worried this might get the cold shoulder simply because it didn't have Sonic in it, but I'm really happy to see I was wrong about that.
